Author and Professor

Margaret Murray is an Associate Professor of Public Communication and Culture Studies at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She earned her Doctorate from the University of Colorado Boulder in Communication and Cultural Studies. She’s been an expert guest for print, radio, and television including in The Conversation, Michigan Public, and Today’s Parent. Her academic work has been published in national and international journals. She lives in metro Detroit with her husband, two young daughters, and a puppy named Noodle.

The 10 Myths of Parenting is her first book. She is currently seeking representation from a literary agent or publisher.
